Encanto da Brisa is a family-owned company created to better manage and promote the family estate products.
The Herdade dos Colmealinhos is a centennial estate, perpetuated in the family for generations thanks to our ancestors tenacity and passion for our “land”.
It is located in the warm and fertile plains of the Baixo Alentejo; a region where you can still find traces of the passage of ancient civilizations such as the Celts, the Romans and the Moors.
Olive trees with hundreds of years, natural water springs, and the Mediterranean flora and fauna are part of our identity and are present in everything we produce.
Encanto da Brisa Ltd was founded in 2008 with the main purpose of producing and marketing food products of the highest quality with the utmost respect for nature and the environment.
In addition to the Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced by our company, that we export to different markets, we also promote other products sourced from our region, the Alentejo.
Our Mission
At Encanto da Brisa we combine tradition with new technologies, always adopting environmentally sustainable farming methods.
Our estate comprises over 200 ha including olive groves, orchards of fruit trees, field crops and pastures.
All of the property is certified as implementing the Integrated Production System according to the European Union Commom Agricultural Policy standards.
Integrated Production is an agricultural production system which takes advantage of the natural resources and natural regulation mechanisms to replace polluting inputs and secure sustainable farming.
It puts particular emphasis on the holistic approach in which the agroecosystem is the central figure.
